By now, we've all heard, know someone, or perhaps have been personally affected by the devastation brought on by hurricanes Harvey, Irma and Maria in the Southeastern United States, including Puerto Rico. This isn't just a blow to “them” but a hard-hitting reality for all of us. It is an unprecedented level of destruction in our country's history and has taken a great toll on a large part of our nation.

Over 5 million Americans have been displaced out of their homes, enduring economic stand-still, left without basic amenities, and are struggling still to put the pieces back together. Of those affected, 3.4 million reside in Puerto Rico alone. Relief aid organizations continue to help support the region but are overwhelmed by the number of those in need.

In an effort to show solidarity as a nation, compassion as businesswomen, and perhaps thaw a bit of that “Seattle Freeze”, all proceeds from tickets to The Sirens of Seattle’s Inaugural Breakfast will be donated to Puerto Rico relief efforts. We’d like to send $10,000 on behalf of the Seattle business community, and we need your help to do so. Get your tickets at Eventbrite

Guests will be led through a series of visioning exercises by co-hosts Jenn Morgan, founder//ceo of Radically Distinct, a strategic marketing agency, Katrina Eileen of Katrina Eileen Real EstateKari Owens of Whole Life Full SoulSusan Gellatly of Gellatly Leadership Coaching, and special guest, Dr. Sarah Myhre Our goal is to help you focus your self-marketing vision for the year.

Our donation will go to Bethenny Frankel’s B Strong program for women and their families in crisis.  B Strong has partnered with national disaster relief charity Delivering Good to provide people affected by the recent natural disasters with gift cards, bank cards and critical supplies to help stabilize their lives and replace what was lost during recent disasters.  Hear Bethenny Frankel speak about her relief trip to Puerto Rico in October, and how the donations are being used.
